Mayer-Vorfelder und Dinkelacker (MVD) was founded in the year 1980 by
Dr. Hans Jörg Mayer-Vorfelder and Helmut Dinkelacker. The duo led the Engineers Association for the construction industry of Sindelfingen until both long-term employees Rüdiger Pflughaupt and Klaus Schäfer assumed the management role shortly after the turn of the millennium.


History has been always written with detailed solutions.
For instance, with state-of-the-art structural engineering such as unbound pre-stressing.
Or through the use of innovative construction materials such as high-performance concrete. MVD has dedicatedly involved itself in strong rope tensions or the balanced reinforcement of glass. On the whole: an uncomplicated handling of materials and construction – reliably planned and guarantees functionality.

Our planning and structural analysis reports were and will be presented at international forums and congresses with a large anticipation. The technical press also participated. We took part in numerous competitions, won a few and always reached the topmost places. This will continue in the future. Good for us as well as our customers.

Despite of all these: Our favourite discipline is continuity. Since its foundation, MVD has managed more than 3.000 projects. We get to work with most of our customers again and again.
