MVD MUNICH CONTINUES TO EXPAND ITS OPENBIM EXPERTISE

By successfully completing the buildingSMART Practitioner openBIM Management certification, Katharina Paul of MVD Munich is expanding our company’s BIM expertise.

BIM management focuses on the strategic, organizational, and procedural management of digital planning and construction processes. This includes, among other things, defining BIM objectives and use cases, developing and reviewing information requirements and BIM execution plans, and establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and processes for model-based information exchange.

In addition, BIM Management supports the introduction and implementation of uniform openBIM standards, the quality assurance of digital project information, and the coordination of collaboration between clients, designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Katharina Paul thus strengthens the team led by Anja Müller and Maximilian Vogt, who, as certified BIM coordinators, are primarily responsible for technical coordination, the review of digital models, and ensuring model quality.

By combining BIM management and BIM coordination, MVD is systematically expanding its expertise in the field of digital planning and project execution.
